Eclub - Entrepreneurial Club

The opportunity to reinforce your business or to develop your ideas through this period of economic uncertainty are abundant. Whether you've always wanted to start your own business but never knew where to start, or whether you are an established business owner looking to expand and maximise your business,
Eclub is the place to begin.

Aims & Objectives:
To be fun medium starting the process of building people and relationships.
To be a platform to identify areas of mutual need in order to support each other mutually
as small business people.
To start the process of building trust for the purposes of high speed and low cost.
To support each other’s businesses products and services as much as possible and to go
out of our way in order to do so.
To establish wherever possible, opportunities for joint venture initiatives within the 3 core
business disciplines of sales & marketing, operations and finance.
To have similar if not the same advantages of a corporate within the context of our own
individual businesses on  the back of collective and cooperative initiatives.
Regular connect networking events.
Relationship building opportunities that are both fun and stimulating.
Regular forums and think tanks that result in mutual support initiatives.

EBEN – The Entrepreneurial Business Exchange Network

Introduction
EBEN (Entrepreneurial Business Exchange Network)
is an extension of Eclub and a phenomenally exciting entrepreneurial and business development initiative. The EBEN system will enable our collective and individual businesses to become truly world class. World class, that is, in a way that gives us all the wonderful things we came into business for in the first place.

In the E-Club (Entrepreneurial) and its EBEN program we all have one thing in common. That one thing is a passion and a willingness to position ourselves in order to serve our businesses to a point where our businesses are intelligently designed to serve us in our individual and collective lives. This is achieved through integrating EBEN as a strategic business development tool into your business.

Short History

The EBEN was setup and launched in the summer of 2007 after extensive discovery and planning into the needs of businesses in terms of their growth and development. This involved participating and interacting within various networking organisations as well as getting extensive feedback from members of those organisations. Subsequently FranklinWaugh created the EBEN with the objective of substantially increasing business opportunities and profits for its members through maximising the potential inherent within the London business community.
Principles of interpersonal leadership (Win/Win or No Deal), empathic communication (Seeking first to understand and then being understood) and creative cooperation (Synergy) are the foundational principles to the entire network and system. Through these principles businesses will maximise opportunities based on the following benefits and mediums.

EBEN – Why it is so Promising, Important & Unique

EBEN is promising because:

It is set to be the largest worldwide entrepreneurial and business development initiative launched by SME’s collectively.
It is the only truly principle-centred initiative that works at the root of SME resource-based challenges in a way that grants the SME complete control.

EBEN is important because:

SMEs do not have the resources to grow as they need to, when they need to. EBEN will effectively and efficiently solve this problem.
It creates the credibility and trust necessary to raise the funding for their business expansion initiatives.
We are all entering uncertain times... so it is critically important that we create the certainty that strategic reinforcement will grant us. It is clear: business people who take this forthcoming period of economic uncertainty lightly, if still around to tell the tale, will have paid a massive price for their lack of foresight, preparation and wisdom

EBEN is unique because:

It is an entrepreneurial and SME business development program that is run by entrepreneurs
for entrepreneurs on a completely level footing as a joint venture.
Enables SMEs to have the advantages of small business, while having the power when needed of a corporate.
It encourages and enables SMEs to think and act at a much higher level of strategic intelligence.
It enables technicians to see as entrepreneurs and business people first, and then as technicians and managers second. It is also unique because it enables an environment to grow and expand more rapidly, substantially and successfully. This is something that is critically missing from other business development initiatives; hence the crucial need for EBEN.

This then leads us to part two of this section, which will grant us a basic understanding of how this can and will be done if you choose to invest your time and effort into it.  

EBEN’s Central Entrepreneurial and Business Development Model –3 Core

The whole EBEN entrepreneurial development model is positioned firmly around the 3 core fundamental disciplines of any business. The three core elements of a business are (1) sales/marketing, (2) operations and (3) finance. EBEN is founded on the rationale that we as SMEs all have one thing in common, a lack of resources necessary to develop our businesses with the freedom that we would like. On our own we have come to realise that it is almost impossible to build our businesses without these resources. Hence, the Entrepreneurial Business Exchange Network community! 

What do we exchange? Entrepreneurial spirit, ideas, mutual support, goodwill, trust, community spirit, resources (individual and collective), power sharing, information, customer bases and relationships, business leads and related opportunities, and commitment to using each other’s products and services wherever it is possible to do so. 

EBEN Sales & Marketing Development

The whole objective of marketing is to attract our customers, to build a good relationship with them, and to keep them for life.  Marketing isn’t only about finding the customer, it has to do with the entire customer experience and at the core of marketing is customer relationships, just as at the core of HR are people, just  as at the core of Finance are the creditors and shareholders. Therefore, it applies to the whole of 3 core.

If there is one thing that guarantees longevity and success of a business, it is the people and relationships that hold it all together like glue.  Where the relationships are weak, the business is weak.  So in order to forge ahead and be competitive, and have a preferential, highly differentiated, extremely powerful marketing approach that is sustainable, then we need to do something uniquely powerful to make sure that the relationships are well founded and that they are well maintained and improved upon on an ongoing basis. 

EBEN - Operations & Systems Development.

Your operations engine room is directly responsible for producing a world class product or service. It also plays a major role in either giving you more life, or taking that life away. It all depends on how you build your operations engine room. If you build it around your neck, then it will become your millstone. However, if you build an operational system that is at the centre of your business, designed to operate without you in it, then this frees you to concentrate on maximising the business rather than it running you. 

Take your existing business structure, and restructure and develop it so that it has the required production capability to grow into what you want it to deliver for you and your life. Build a duplicate-able business model and structure capable of delivering far above what you and your business are capable of delivering on your own.

EBEN - Finance Development

The message here is clear... if you want and need more funding, then it is easier to prove your character and competence by being part of something much, much bigger than you would be if you were on your own! There are loads of people and organisations who would love to share in some way in your success, but why you? Why should they invest in you and your business?

Quite simply, they should because of the level of character and competence that you possess and that you have within your circle of influence. The more you are supported and connected, and the more this circle of influence is willing to support and vouch for you, therefore your chances of funding are far greater. To the degree you are character and competency rich, they will trust you to deliver.  To the degree they trust you to deliver, will be the degree to which you will be able to call on funding at a speed and cost that you never thought possible.
